Can I do yoga, even if I’m not flexible?

Certainly! While yoga promotes flexibility, it does not require it as a starting point; you’ll acquire it as you go along. Nor is it about ‘no pain, no gain’. Yoga is doing something for yourself that makes you feel good and that is good for you. There are easier variations of all the postures to allow everyone to progress at his/her own rate; there is no competition.

Is there meditation?

You could consider yoga as meditation in action. We work on letting go of the thoughts of the day and focusing on the here and now. As practice progresses, the goal is to focus more and more on the deep breathing and the postures throughout as much of the class as possible.
